We are best suited to be around 22 ABY (actually anywhere from 16-22 ABY), because that's the point where the Imperial remnant and New Republic are both still controlling space, and the Jedi are established, and the Disciples of Ragnos are defeated (14 ABY), this allows for our Sith to exist, as there would be many drawn out from that event, or even survivors. The Jedi are also aware that Sith still exist due to that. This time period takes place after the events of all the Star Wars movies.
