Biography[]
Zakkiel was born to a poverty stricken family in the bowels of Coruscant, forgotten by the government. Living in the slums had made it difficult for her, but she tried to live a good life. Unfortunately, that was hard when it was unclear where her next meals were coming from. By the age of eight, Zakkiel was an accomplished pickpocket, rarely getting caught - and the times she did get caught she was able to get away and get lost within a crowd. Though her earnings from this activity were meagre, they helped towards the family's basic income - her mother, Sorel, was too ill and frail to work, dying from some unknown disease that ate away at her bones and muscles, and her father - Ka'el - worked all hours, slaving away in a forge for a pittance. Her sister, Dania, was too young to understand what was going on. Unfortunately for Zakkiel, it soon became clear that pickpocketing was not going to be enough to help are for her family.
The Shadows[]
Zakkiel got caught up on the wrong side of the law in a bad way. She began working for a young man she knew only as Scully, contract thieving for a small wage - though it was almost double what she might earn in a day pickpocketing. Unfortunately for Zak, he was part of a larger organisation, The Shadows. These were people involved in all kinds of evil - protection rackets, contract killings, contract kidnappings - nothing was beneath them. These people sold other people as slaves, they smuggled weapons and carried blasters and weapons around with them. It was with The Shadows that she learned two of her greatest skills - how to dual wield blasters and how to effectively use bladed weapons - but that was out of necessity rather than out of want. It turned out that she was not the only one forced into serving the Shadows either - a young lad called Peck Bailey, she never learned his real name, joined at the same time as she did.
It was during this time, as a gang member, Zak witnessed her first, truly brutal murder, and it scared the life out of her. Soon after that incident, Peck and Zak began scheming to get out of the gang - but they knew that they'd have to get off Coruscant to really do that. The gang had eyes everywhere. It would take them time - luckily, they knew very little of Zak's family, had never seen them and hopefully Zak had been careful enough that she'd kept them hidden. It would take two years to successfully save up the money to leave Coruscant for good. She and Peck - whose surname she had taken up to protect herself and her family - finally got themselves a ship, and left the planet, though it really took guts for her to leave her family - especially her younger sister Dania behind.

Bladed Weapons[]
Zakkiel is an expert wielder of Chakrams, and she has one oversized chakrams - as can be seen in the image aside, and a pair of chakrams which split in two, so that she had two semi-circular blades. She can also wield swords to some standards, and always carries a dagger within her boot - but she only uses it if she knows that it's going to be some use.
Special Weapons[]
She can use blasters, but prefers bladed weapons. She feels the are cumbersome, and far too heavy.
Hand to Hand Combat[]
Zak can fight hand-to-hand, but hasn't received any formal training of any form of martial arts yet.
