Biography[]
Born as Sarya Beltrak, Rya is the force sensitive daughter of Jedi Master Satkia Beltrak. As a toddler, Rya showed great intelligence for such a young age, learning to walk before she was a year old and able to hold a simple conversation by age two. Like any young child, Rya was into everything. She had to know how things worked and if there was a problem that needed solving, she would stubbornly hack away at the problem by herself, not realizing she could've asked for help. To this day, Rya has continued to show that incredible stubborness to succeed and often takes it quite personal if an endeavour ends in failure or if something went wrong that she was unable to correct.
Like any teenager, Rya loves to have the music on loud and have a fun time whenever possible. She sometimes butt heads with her mother over minor things, especially as both have such stubborn and headstrong personalities, but she loves her mother dearly, and doesn't intentionally rock the boat with her unless she feels she needs to.
Due to growing up on Corellia, Rya has a very strong Corellian accent to her voice as she speaks.
Background[]
Sarya Beltrak, or Rya as she prefers to be known as, was born to Jedi Master Satkia Beltrak on board her personal ship, the Amaranth. Right from the start, Rya was a determined child. If her mind was set on doing something, she would do it, regardless of any repercussions her endeavour had. A bright and intelligent child, Rya is naturally gifted in the Force, though has yet to decide if she wants to train as a Jedi, having taken an interest in other things, such as Dance and music. When not doing either of those hobbies, Rya will often find herself a book to read, having developed a love for books at a young age. She's also very into History, so much so that, at the Corellian Enclave, where she lives with her Mother, Rya will often be found at the library with her nose into books and holocrons.
As she's gotten older, Rya often sneaks out to explore her surroundings more, much to her Mother's chagrin at times. As the only child of Satkia, Rya is sheltered somewhat, but the girl often feels stifled if she isn't allowed to explore on her own terms. To compensate, Rya has begun learning Echani martial arts to defend herself, should the need arise.
